NORDIC STORYTELLING
Coming from the North, and having a genuine passion for winter, I naturally feel the need to document the natural beauty of our snowy landscapes for the future generations. Our modern world has a very damaging effect on these regions, and with this project, I hope to help raise awareness of these unique ecosystems’ fragility, which are the most directly impacted by the climate crisis we are facing. Shorter winters, reduced snowfalls, higher temperatures, rising waters, and melting ice are unfortunately the new reality. They have a devastating impact on these areas of our planet we often don’t live in, and that therefore, we tend to forget.

URBAN STORYTELLING
I also have an interest in urban environments, which led me to initiate a project based on different cities in Europe, mainly in Italy, France, and the United Kingdom. I love old masonry and woodwork, and I am attracted by the cinematic mood these historical settings are soaked in. Through my photographs, I want to share my vision of these places and their inhabitants. My favourite moments are cloudy or foggy days as well as early mornings and late nights, when streets are almost empty. This is when we can feel the past the most intensely and when I can capture subtle atmospheric nuances without being distracted by the hustle and bustle of daytime life.
